What is Lambing Season Pro?
Lambing Season Pro is a simple, offline record-keeping app designed specifically for sheep farmers. It helps you manage your lambing season by recording ewe information, lambing events, treatments, notes, and more—all from your phone or tablet.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Lambing Season Pro works completely offline. Your data is stored on your device, making it ideal for use in fields, barns, and other areas without mobile coverage.
Is my data stored in the cloud?
No. Your flock records remain on your own device. Nothing is uploaded to external servers unless you choose to export or back up your data yourself.
Can I back up my records?
Yes. You can create backups of your flock records and restore them later if you change devices or need to recover your data.
Can I export my records?
Yes. Records can be exported as CSV files for use in spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers.
Can I record multiple lambs for one ewe?
Yes. Lambing Season Pro supports single, twin, triplet, and larger litters, allowing you to keep complete records for every lamb born.
Can I use the app for more than one lambing season?
Yes. The Unlimited Seasons version of the app allows you to keep records for as many lambing seasons as you like while keeping each season separate and easy access to past seasons.
What is the difference between the Season Pass and the Unlimited Seasons versions?
The Season Pass version allows you to manage a single lambing season. The Unlimited Seasons version lets you create and archive multiple seasons, making it ideal for producers who want to retain records year after year. With Unlimited Season version, your breeding flock is automatically carried over to the next season where you can edit, cull/delete and add new breeding ewes to you current season.
Does the app work on both iPhone and iPad?
Yes. Lambing Season Pro is designed to work on both iPhone and iPad.
Is there an Android version?
An Android version is currently in development.
Can I share records with someone else?
Yes. You can export your data and share the exported files if you wish. The app is a single device app, meaning it is not synced to other user's devices. But data can be shared if you would like to share it.
Is my information private?
Yes. Because your records are stored on your own device, you remain in control of your flock data.
Is there a subscription?
No. Lambing Season Pro is intentionally a one-time purchase with no monthly subscription fees. No tether. No cloud requirements. Easy.
What happens if I get a new phone?
Simply create a backup to another location other than your phone and then restore your backup onto your new device when you are ready for it and continue where you left off.
Can I track my lambs after the lambing season?
Lambing Season Pro is designed for breeding and lambing records. For ongoing weight tracking, treatments, vaccinations, and movements after birth, use Lamb Tracker Pro, which imports lambs directly from Lambing Season Pro.
